The Financial Services Authority are an independent regulatory body. Our brief was to critique their existing brand marque and produce a solution which was an evolution rather than a revolution.
The letterforms and spacing in the original look awkward and the symbol was too complex, taking time to visually read. It was also felt that the colour palatte wasn’t sufficiently authoritative.
We solved the issue with the type and created a stronger symbol that was easier to read despite being smaller. We also revised corporate colour palatte as we extended the branding process.
