The design for Thrive’s first park board highlighted its playful nature with illustrations of helmeted bird/lizard women with headphones in order to attract freestyle riders.

The warrior helmets drew inspiration from medieval times but the shapes and details were adapted to echo the Thrive logo.

This, in turn, led to the development of the heraldic crest design in the centre of the board that held the name and size information, giving the board a strong overall concept.
