  The last design for the Accomplice had been so well-received that the pressure was really cranked up for the 2016 release. As with the Poise (which is the female equivalent of the Accomplice) we switched from a character-based design to an environment-based one and developed a full-wrap illustration rather than a symmetrical design.

   

  Whereas the Poise references the natural world, the Accomplice revelled in an urban, dystopian sci-fi futurescape, neatly paying homage to the use of the Accomplice as an urban freestyle board by snowboarders.

   

  Solid pop colours provide a striking contrast to the highly-detailed line work of the illustration and several stickers on the skateboard and trash showcase some of the early routes for the brand’s logo.
