  We wanted to produce a board that was sophisticated, but with an element of fun to it. The owl illustrations provided the right balance of personality and edge and the complexity and level of detail helped to communicate the quality of the product.

   

  The ornamental shapes used in the patterns suggest a ‘craft’ ethos and influences of traditional folk art.

   

  We printed a subtle gold glitter effect on top of the black areas which, combine with the subtle colour scheme, really gives the board a high-value look and feel.
